TDZ Turn began to take shape at the end of 2006, initially operating as the vertical turning division of a multinational company. 

At that time, the company was solely dedicated to the supply and service of VLC vertical lathes. 

In April 2008, TDZ Turn was incorporated and by the end of that year, 20 VLC machines had been delivered to customers.

The company's portfolio has been expanded to include manually operated horizontal lathes of the HLM series and CNC-controlled horizontal lathes of the HLC series. 

Until the end of 2013, TDZ Turn was mainly active on the Czech and Slovak markets, as well as in Germany, Poland and Russia. Due to the Russian annexation of Crimea, business activities in Russia were significantly reduced in 2014 and the company increased its offer in Central and Western Europe.

TDZ Turn celebrated 10 years since its launch with business partners and friends. To celebrate this significant anniversary, the new TURN logo was unveiled, replacing the original round TDZ logo. 

The year also saw another significant expansion of the product portfolio, with the addition of the VSC series of vertical lathes, functionally similar to machining centres, which ideally complemented the portfolio of lathes.

TDZ Turn has managed to overcome the challenging period associated with Covid restrictions, which affected the entire industry. Nevertheless, we have successfully adapted to the new conditions, even though we were unable to participate in the traditional MSV engineering fair in Brno from 2020 to 2022. 

Thanks to the determination and flexibility of our team, we have continued to provide quality service and support to our customers. 

At the beginning of 2022, in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we immediately stopped all activities on the Russian market. This situation led us to focus even more on the Czech, Slovak and German markets. 

At the end of 2022, we proudly celebrated the significant 15th anniversary of the company's founding.

More than 150 vertical or horizontal lathes have been delivered to customers. 

The company continues to specialize in VLC and VSC vertical lathes and HLM and HLC horizontal lathes. New design of VLC lathes was launched.
