HLM S horizontal lathes are the smallest manually operated horizontal lathes from TDZ Turn. They are designed for machining parts weighing up to 6,000 kg and have a bed width of 558 mm with a swing diameter above the bed from 860 to 1100 mm. 

The machines are extremely rigid and robust thanks to their cast iron construction, which effectively dampens vibrations. The guide surfaces of these lathes are hardened to a hardness of up to 58 HRC, which gives them exceptional precision and rigidity during machining. 

In addition, grinding the guide surfaces for a single clamping guarantees long-term accuracy and stability of the machine, which is key for demanding machining operations.
