The VLC M vertical lathes combine performance, robustness and versatility. They are ideal for machining workpieces weighing up to 20,000 kg, with a swing diameter of up to 3,000 mm and a height of up to 2,650 mm. They are extremely rigid, single-column machines.

The main advantages of the machine include a wide range of workpiece clamping options, including a pallet system, and optional tool clamping methods. Customers can choose a configuration with one or two slides, and for efficient machining of tall parts, we recommend the increased machine version. 

The machine can be equipped with a high-performance and precise Master-Slave drive, which ensures optimal performance even during demanding machining. Options include a manual clamping plate, hydraulic chuck or magnetic clamping, ensuring flexibility according to your needs. 

Control is provided by modern SIEMENS or FANUC control systems. A wide range of motors can be selected to optimize performance and consumption. Reliability and accuracy are guaranteed thanks to the cross-bearing of the main bearing, the sliding axis guide and the tool magazine located outside the working area of the machine. Of course, there is also a retractable slide, characteristic of the VLC series machines. Thanks to the controlled “C” axis and the rotary tool drive, it offers universal use for piece production, as well as small and medium series. 

In 2023–2024, these machines underwent a redesign of the cover, which not only improves functionality, but also gives the machines a modern and professional look.
